I fired it up for the first time and noticed the display was crooked – obviously something was misassembled. If you choose to add the stickers to your tool, that’s your problem, not theirs.Anyway, after reading the horror stories, I kept expecting the worst, and it wasn’t long before my fears were apparently realized. At first I assumed this was laziness or poor quality control, but then I realized it was probably to prevent legal issues – the tool is not labelled, therefore the tool is not a counterfeit, it is a clone of something on which patent protection has expired. Over each sticker was another black, opaque sticker, covering any text. All the stickers with serial numbers and names were missing from the unit – packaged in a separate ziplock bag.
